Christmas and 1 Years Old!

This week has been crazy.. Family has been here and we have been everywhere. You got to celebrate Christmas with all of your family yes different days but none the less with all of them. You absolutly adore your family and they adore you. I remember on December 25 of last year we were wondering when you would be born. And low and behold 2 days later you were. Its amazing to me that a year ago yesterday at 11:35 am you came into this world. You totally rocked our world more than we could imagine. Not only are you 1 but you have a little brother or sister on the way. Its scarey still to think that all next years holidays there will be you and a sibling! Holy cow I will be a mother of 2!

Well Christmas went great and on your birthday yesterday we spent it mostly at home. In the morning you threw the biggest tantrum you have ever thrown and it was funny because I said look is this what our future holds. HOpefully not but only the good Lord knows! You are such a charmer. You do so many things now and I love it.

Church Dedication & 1 year birthday!

Oh my little darling.. You are just such a little peach and your mama and daddy adore you. You were dedicated December 20, 2009 at First Baptish Church Oviedo. 25 of your family and friends came just to see you dedicated! You were absolutly adorable and you were a little pouty pants while the pastor was talking. you did a little grunt than as soon as he handed you the Bible you flashed him the biggest grin you could and started chewing on it. After the service so many people came up to tell me how adorable and sweet you were and how you are just the cutest little thing. I couldn't agree more.

After your dedication and service we all went back to my mom's house and had bar-b-q. You loved it! You enjoyed having all the family there and I loved seeing how happy you were. You ate all your bbq and than when we gave you your cake you ate all the icing but none of the cake! YOu are so funny. After cake and presents you went with all your little cousins accross the street and played on the the neighbors swingset. You just ran and played like crazy! Everyone loves you son. When you got back you took a long nap and than up to play before we left. Son you really bring so many peopel joy and hope and I could not be a more proud mama! Thank you for being you and for loving me and your Daddy!

12 Month Check up

Oh my sweet little boy. You will be 1 year old in a few short days. Oh how the time has flown. Oh to quickly if you ask me. I took you to your 1 year check up yesterday and you are doing wonderful. Every one in the office adores you as well as your mama! You are the in 50th percentile all around.

You are: 29 3/4 Inches Tall
You are: 22.05 LBS.

The Dr. said you are perfactly square! LOL Not sure what that means I guess that is a good thing... hmmm... Well you have this belly on you that is big and round. I love it though you stick it out all the time and do this big fake laugh. It is hilarious. Mama has been feeling morning sickness lately and you seem to know and be a little easier on mama. Taking your naps well etc! The Dr. said it was time to put you soely on a sippy cup but Mama is a rebel and Im not ready for that. Your still a baby and need your bottle in my book. Yes I'll give you less milk than i used to which probably is why your belly is so big but you will still get your milk mostly in a bottle. I just adore you son. You are so full of joy, charm, character and laughs! You are the greatest.

On December 20th you are being dedicated at First Baptist. It is the church that mama and Daddy got married in and met and also where we go to church. I am so happy and I'm excited to dedicate to raise you in the Lord. I'm just hoping my morning sickness is not bad that day. Don't want to throwup on stage! After your dedication we are havnig a birthday party and Grandma Bell's house only with family. I am very excited. Its mostly going to be lunch and a celebration that we have made it. We are also planning on telling the family we are expecting again. Well son I love you to the moon and back. You are the sweetest little thing in the whole wide world and I look forward to your smiles, hugs and kisses for a very long time.

Big Brother

Pierce, Today we found out that you are going to be a big brother around August 9 or before. Right now Mama is in shock b/c I just can't believe that we are going to go through a pregnancy again and I can't imagine how I'll love your little brother or sister as much as I love you. Part of me doesnt' feel ready. I'm not ready to split my time from you, I'm not ready to not have you be the first priority in my life other than Daddy and Jesus. I'm just not ready. Today when I was thinking about it it dawned on me... well thats why God gives you 9 months to get ready. So I will be ready and I know you will be the best big brother. You will love your little baby so much I already know b/c of how much you already love other kids. Daddy can't wait for you to have a playmate and he is thrilled. I know it will be ok its just very scary. Right now there are lots of sad things going on with the family and I feel guilty for having this little blessing in my life right now, besides you, when there are people who are trying and want a healthy baby so badly. But all the same God chose us to have this baby and we will love and adore him or her as much as you.

Pierce you are almost a year old and you truly are the light of our lives. You are just a funny little monkey. Today you woke up grumpy and I had put the tree up last night. So I told you to hold on and I plugged in the lights and held you up to see the pretty tree. You literally awweed and ohhhed over it and did you big old baby grin. You loved it. I love you Pierce. I really love you with every single beat of my heart. I love when you toot and laugh like its the best joke in the world and you do it again, I love how you jump off your rocking chair and land on the floor only to get back up and do it again, I love how you take alllll the tupperware out of my drawers and pots and pans out of the cabinets, I love how you chew on my cell phone cord, Ilove how you run from me when I come after you, I love your fake laugh you do and how you mimic our laughs, I love how you sing when your animals sing to you or when I sing to you, I love how you run to me with your arms up when I come home after being away, I love how you give me big wet slobbery kisses, I love how you yell mama when your scared sad or hurt, I love how you have to have your monkeys for bed and nap time and you carry them around by the tail in your mouth, I love how you just started clapping and you love to do it all the time now, I just love every single little piece of you Pierce and I wouldn't change one moment of my time with you for anything in the world.

This next year of your life is going to change so much and I can't wait to take this Journey with you and Daddy. we love you so much little guy and because you are so amazing I know that our next child will be just as wonderful. Thank you for being my son. Thank you for loving me and Daddy unconditionally. We love you and we hope time slows down so i can drink every moment in that we have with you.
